You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any Content without our express written permission. 4. Membership, Events, and Services
Certain sections of the Website (e.g., membership registration, event registration, abstract submission) may be subject to specific rules, policies, and fees separate from these Terms. By applying for membership, registering for an event, or using these services, you agree to comply with any additional terms and conditions provided for those specific activities.
Payment for membership, event registration, abstract submission and any other payment activities can be made by bank card (debit or credit), directly to the BAFAS account or through a payment platform (like Paypal, Revolut, etc.).
Payment by bank transfer can be made to the BAFAS bank account with the following bank details:

In „Reason for the bank transfer”, please write “Membership fee”, your NAME and FAMILY Name, e.g “John Smith” and the YEAR for the Membership fee payment, eg. “2026”.
In case of need for a refund of an amount paid by card by the user, the corresponding amount will be refunded through a card transaction on the same card account of the user.
In case of need for a refund of an amount paid by bank transfer by the user, the corresponding amount will be refunded through a bank transfer in the same bank account of the of the user.
BAFAS reserves the right to refuse service or membership to anyone at its sole discretion.
5. Membership
The application for membership in BAFAS is a separate procedure that requires the approval of the governing body.
Person wishing to obtain membership fills out an application form, which is located on the webpage, and submits it.
After the application is reviewed by the BAFAS management and approved, the candidate is notified via email at the email address provided in the application form.
Only after this procedure, the approved candidate can pay the Membership fee to BAFAS.
After paying the Membership fee the applicant becomes Member of BAFAS. He/she receives permission for registration in BAFAS Member’s area with USERNAME and PASSWORD.
6. Membership fee
- Annual Membership fee is forty (40) EUR. The annual fee is payable in advance and covers one calendar year unless otherwise specified by the BAFAS. It must be paid via upwrited ways
- Rights and Benefits – Active members in good standing are entitled to participate in the activities of the Society, including scientific meetings, educational programs, and other member-specific initiatives, in accordance with the BAFAS’ statutes and internal regulations.
7. Obligations of Members:
Members are required to:
- Pay the annual membership fee in full and on time;
- Comply with the BAFAS’ statutes, bylaws, and internal policies;
- Act in a manner consistent with the ethical and professional standards of the BAFAS.
8. Membership Status
Failure to pay the annual membership fee may result in suspension or termination of membership rights and benefits until the outstanding obligations are fulfilled.
Membership in the organization may be terminated voluntarily by any member by submitting an application to BAFAS, in free text, expressing his/her will for immediate termination of Мembership. The application could be signed and send to the email or the postal address of BAFAS. The amount of the Мembership fee is not refunded to the member who has terminated his/her membership.
A member’s membership in the organization may be terminated by the management of BAFAS in the event that he/she violates the rules adopted in the Association’s Statute and the General Terms and Conditions. The amount of the Мembership fee is not refunded to the member who has terminated his/her membership and the excluded member is informed formally at the specified contact details filled in during the registration and membership application, for permanent termination of all Membership rights.
Membership is non-transferable and fees paid are non-refundable unless expressly decided otherwise by the BAFAS.
9. Amendments
The Society reserves the right to modify membership conditions, including the annual fee, by decision of its competent governing bodies. Any such changes shall be published on the Society’s official website and shall take effect as indicated therein.
10. Third-Party Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by BAFAS. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. You acknowledge and agree that BAFAS shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of any such third-party content, goods, or services.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
